This timeline shows the sequence of Phases and what occurs in each one respectively. The Preclinical Phase deals with preparing for testing on human beings. Phases 1-3 deal with extended testing and each one having a priority. Phase 4 is the final one where the drug becomes available to the public but it is watched for any health issues that may come up later. Overall the process takes about 8-12 years.

This timeline summarizes the series of events that occurred last year following the Ebola Outbreak. It started when Patient Zero transmitted the disease and the deadly strain spread like crazy. Hundreds of people died before help from American and European volunteers. The Mapp industries in San Diego showed promise when it proved to be effective against a group of monkeys. After it was used on monkeys, it was used on the volunteers that had become infected.  This brought up lots of controversy as people argued how it's unfair. However, the Drug immediately ran out and it's very difficult to make.
